Job Description

At Zostel, design is a core product — it shapes how travellers discover, feel, and remember us. We’re looking for a Visual-First Product Designer who’s strong at craft, can help us build a cohesive brand ecosystem, and is excited to ship great designs in a fast-moving environment.

This role is ideal for someone who loves visual systems, brand identity, UI polish, and knows how to use AI + modern tools to move faster without compromising quality.

• Create and maintain brand kits (logos, type, colors, iconography, illustration style, templates)
• Standardise assets for internal teams and partners (property kits, co-branded assets, etc.)
• Build scalable patterns for marketing + product communication inside the app/website
• Contribute to UI/UX for low-to-mid complexity features
• Work with design systems and component libraries to ship clean, scalable UI
• Work closely with Product, Tech, Marketing, Business, Ops
• Ensure design output is implementation-ready (handoffs, specs, states)

What you’ll own

• Visual design quality across Zostel’s website + app
• Brand ecosystem across Zo brands (Zostel, Zo Selections, Zo House, Zo Trips, etc.)
• Visual communication across product and marketing touchpoints

What we’re looking for

• 2–4 years experience in visual + product design
• Strong craft in:
• 
  
• typography, layout, color, composition
• visual hierarchy and UI readability
• 
  
• Strong portfolio showing visual excellence (not just flows/wireframes)
• Comfortable shipping across web + mobile
• Proficient in Figma + working with design systems
• Strong execution speed with quality (startup mindset)
• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate workflows (ideation → production)

Bonus points

• Strong hand skills: sketching, illustration, iconography, typography exploration
