Job Description

Zostel is hiring a 6-month Full-Stack + AI Intern to help us build fast, friendly product for a community that actually meets IRL. You’ll ship real features end-to-end—frontend flows in React/Next + Tailwind, APIs in Node/TypeScript (or Python), Postgres/Prisma, Redis/queues, and clean CI/CD. On the AI side, you’ll wire practical stuff: semantic search, RAG over our content, tiny agents for ops, and lightweight evals so we trust what we ship. Expect tight feedback loops, crisp specs, and the freedom to prototype, measure, and iterate.

What you’ll do

• Build user-facing features for Zo Trips / Zo House (listings, wishlists, checkout, dashboards)
• Design minimal, well-typed APIs and data models; write docs people actually read
• Work on IMAI , Zo's in house AI
• Ship safely: tests, metrics, feature flags, and no drama deploys

You might be a fit if

• You’ve shipped something real (repo/demo/video) and can talk through tradeoffs
• Comfort with React/Next, Node/TS (or Python), Postgres, and basic infra (Docker, Vercel/AWS)
• You think in systems, write clean code, and love shortening the feedback loop
• Bonus: vectors, embeddings, eval metrics, LangChain/LlamaIndex, FastAPI, Rust curiosity
