We’re looking for a Video Editor who can bring these stories to life for Zo Trips, our travel experiences vertical that brings the Zostel community together through all-inclusive domestic & international itineraries. Someone who doesn’t just cut clips but crafts emotions with a proven ability to create videos across platforms, including Instagram, YouTube long-form, and shorts.

What You’ll Do

• Own the edit, end-to-end: Handle video editing for brand campaigns, social media, marketing content, and community stories, from rough cut to final master.
• Craft compelling narratives: Collaborate with creative, brand, and social media teams to build engaging video stories that reflect Zostel’s energy and tone.
• Work closely with producers and designers: Execute ideas that are visually stunning and strategically aligned with campaign goals.
• Bring the magic in post: Oversee colour grading, sound design, graphics, and motion enhancements to ensure every frame feels premium.
• Lead & collaborate: Manage a small team of junior editors or freelancers to maintain quality and meet deadlines.
• Optimise for every platform: Edit for diverse formats, Instagram Reels, YouTube Long-form & Shorts, LinkedIn, and more, while keeping the Zostel brand consistent and recognisable.
• Stay on top of trends: Experiment with new editing styles, effects, and formats that push creative boundaries.

What You Bring

• 2–3 years of professional experience in video editing or post-production, ideally with social-first brands or agencies.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop.
• Strong grasp of visual storytelling, pacing, and emotion.
• An instinct for what works on social, short-form video trends, hooks, and visual storytelling for engagement.
• Ability to manage timelines, juggle multiple projects, and guide junior editors or freelancers.
• A creative eye with obsessive attention to detail and finish.
• A portfolio that shows range, narrative depth, and originality.

Nice to Have

• Experience with motion graphics, animation, or 3D workflows.
• Understanding of sound design and colour correction techniques.
• Prior experience in travel, lifestyle, or digital-first brands.
