YOU WILL
■ Report to Zostel Delhi
■ Attend calls and resolve guest queries.
■ Be responsible for its functioning from Reception/Travel, Bar, Cafe or Kitchen, In-house Atmosphere, but you may cross over to other outlets temporarily or permanently depending on your skills, ambitions and business requirements.
■ Be part of a great team across all front line departments that get Zostel and want to be themselves.
■ Take ownership of the guest journey to ensure that we create a truly unique Zostel experience.
■ Know your guests and have a passion for independent travel and the road less travelled.
■ Enjoy peeling back the layers of a new city
■ Know and love ethnic traditions, foods with the courage to offer up something a little different
■ OWN GUEST COMPLAINTS AND RESOLVE THEM YOURSELF. YOU SOLVE THE PROBLEMS, YOU CREATE THE SOLUTIONS
■ Know your city, its cafés, bars and restaurants, its art, its music.
■ At all times ensure that our social spaces embody the Zostel brand and culture
■ Ensure you comply with all company policies you have been trained on.
■ Be Responsible for all cash handling whilst you are on duty
■ Master a point of sale system or a property management system
YOU HAVE
■ Experience working within the hospitality/service industry, atleast 2 years.
■ A passion for your city, for travelling and for trending food and drinks concepts
■ Knowledge of what’s on in the city you apply to; art, music, culture, whatever.
■ Have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for service.
■ Knowledge of social media and user-generated reviews, with respect for their importance in marketing the hostel.
