Job Description
We're looking for a talented, creative, and enthusiastic individual to join and uplift Zostel's already awesome Marketing team! The role of Social Media Executive is special, here's how:
- Planning, developing, and posting content for Zostel's multiple social channels.
- Online reputation management.
- Researching social media content, trends, and more as required for the social media calendar and other brand communication.
- Monitoring users' engagement and analysing content that we publish.
- Remaining abreast of changes to all pertinent social media applications.
- Working with other visual media designers to create exciting, fun content.
- Collaborating and coordinating with the team for content requirements.
- Participating and coordinating in the back-end activities of on-ground central events.
Brownie points if you have experience editing short-form video content (reels, shorts, etc) or are keen to learn.
We need someone who:
- Is enthusiastic about social media, internet trends, and digital marketing.
- Has a basic understanding of design, video editing, copywriting, and social media content.
- Loves and is experienced at ideating campaigns, social media calendars, and any other content.
- Is keen on experimenting and learning something new each week.
- Has great communication skills and can juggle tasks alongside multiple team members at once.
- Wants to grow their skills, be it professional or interpersonal, in a fast-paced and fun-loving environment.
- Appreciates good humour and can apply the same in their many amazing tasks.
You'll be working closely with content, social media, design, and video teams.
