How to reach the Great Himalayan National Park
Situated in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, the village of Laida in the Great Himalayan National Park is easily reachable from multiple routes.
By Bus: To reach the property by bus, there are various alternatives:
- Take a bus to Aut tunnel, followed by a local bus to Banjar, then another to Chanon. From there, it’s a short 1 km walk to the property.
- Take a bus to Aut tunnel, then a local bus to Banjar, and hire a cab from Banjar directly to the property.
- Take a bus to Aut tunnel, then hire a direct taxi to the property, costing around INR 1,600–1,800.
Note: Local buses on this route run every 1-2 hours.
By Train: Take a train from Delhi to Chandigarh Railway Station (250 km), and from there, you can take a bus or a private taxi to Aut tunnel. From Aut, follow the directions as specified above for the remaining journey.
By Car: If you're driving, the route goes from Delhi to Aut tunnel and then onward to Laida.
By Air: The nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport, located about 50 km away. From here, you can easily hire a taxi to reach the Great Himalayan National Park.
