Day 1 - 25th September
  • Reach Guwahati and relax before leaving for Naharlagun, the nearest station to the Ziro village. Make sure to reach the station by 8 PM to make it in time for the departure of the train, which is at 9:20 PM.
Day 2 - 26th September
  • Once you reach Naharlagun, you’re in for a scenic 3-4 hour ride to the Ziro Valley where Camp Zingaro awaits to host you in their prearranged tents. The Ziro Festival of Music starts today, so settle in and then head out for the same to sway to the most soothing tunes. Once back at the campsite, treat yourself with a hearty dinner and gaze at the stars before you fall asleep.
Day 3 - 27th September
  • After a warm breakfast, carry on with the music carnival on its second day. In the evening, you’ll be enjoying a traditional dinner with rice beers over a cosy bonfire. Forget about the concrete jungle and its madness and chill at the camping site as the music continues, thanks to the native artists.
Day 4 - 28th September
  • Go on a guided walk through the village, observing the Apatani culture. And there is no conversation without some tea and snacks, right? Sit back and exchange a story or two with the natives. Once you’re done with the walk you can head back to the festival grounds where more memories await to be cherished. Later in the evening, come back to a hot dinner and some bonfire jamming.
Day 5 - 29th September
  • Another day full of interesting activities awaits you. Entertain yourself with football and volleyball games, trek to the woods, and then head back to the festival grounds. The party will go on late into the night and will be continued even when you’re back at the campsite.
Day 6 - 30th September
  • Oh snap, when did the days pass? Make sure you log all the memories by clicking a lot of pictures and bid adieu to your festival buddies before you leave.
