Situated bank of the holy river Ganges, Triveni Ghat, a confluence of three holy significant Rivers the Ganges the Yamuna and the Saraswathy, is the most revered sacred bathing spot in Rishikesh. The main event of the attraction is the evening Arti of Goddess Ganga also commonly called as "Maha Arti". An Awe-inspiring sight, when flame of belief illuminates the entire environment and the mind and body rejuvenated by the hymns recited in praise of the Ganges. Devotees release flower-filled leaf boats carrying tiny oil lamps and let them float out on the river, which is the ceremony of worship, remembrance and hope. After the arti, we explore the streets of Rishikesh for local handicrafts and mouth watering Indian street food and delicacies.
