Kakani Hiking is an exciting hiking day tour to the hill station of Kakani, situated at an altitude of (2073m). Situated approximately 30 kilometers away from Kathmandu, Kakani is a lovely hill station with traditional village that offers exotic Himalayan views from its view point. The top of the hill offers fantastic views of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri and other Himalayan peaks. The hiking trail is surrounded with beautiful rhododendron forest which makes the hiking expedition rather exciting. The view point also offers the view of Kathmandu valley and nearby villages. The sunrise and sunset view from the top of the hill is simply breathtaking.
Morning : We drive for about an hour to Kakani which is 32Kms from Kathmandu.
The trail is almost flat and there are numerous picnic spots and small village en route. We hike for about three hours to Bhanjyang with about 20 minutes steep climb before we reach Bhanjyang.
After lunch and strolling around for some time, we hike down to kakani for about two and half hours and drive back to Kathmandu.
