Day One
  • At 2:15 PM, start from Zostel Jaisalmer to explore the haunted village of Kuldhara. The next stop will be Sam Oasis, a naturally occurring water resource in the middle of the desert. Then, indulge in birdwatching and photography, after which you will make your way to the village where camel drivers reside to date.
  • Enjoy a 30 to 45-minute long camel safari or hitch an offroad ride in a jeep to the isolated dunes. You’ll reach just in time for the sunset, followed by tea and snacks. Traditional dance and musical performances will entertain you further, making way for a hearty traditional dinner.
  • For your night-stay, you can pick between a tent or an open set-up right in the sands, with a tented washroom in the vicinity. Then, take a rest for the night under a starry sky.
Day Two
  • Get up early to watch the sunrise, yet another remarkable desert experience to collect. Enjoy a filling breakfast amidst the sands and then make your way back to the camel drivers’ village through an exciting jeep safari. You’ll return to Zostel Jaisalmer by 11 AM -12 PM.


  • Your commute to the desert and back from Zostel Jaisalmer.
  • Drinking water and all meals: tea/coffee and snacks in the evening dinner at night and breakfast the next day.
  • A Camel Safari.
  • It’s an experience to sleep directly under the stars. You’ll do so by spreading out your mattresses, linens, and pillows on the sand, all of which will be provided.
  • You’ll be facilitated with an open toilet along with basic sanitation locally available like wet wipes and soap bars.


  • The advance collected for the Escape is completely non-refundable in nature.
  • The trip starts and ends at Zostel Jaisalmer.
  • Things to carry: Wear loose cotton clothes for a comfortable time and do carry a jacket and/or warm clothes for the night. Having a pair of sunglasses, a towel, toilet paper, and a pair of shoes will be of help too. Please carry a valid ID for verification.
  • 31st Dec 2021: For bookings on 31st Dec 2021, you will be charged an additional INR 2000 for activities and events arranged for the new year. This Price will be payable directly at the property.
