You won't be amazed to find, 'Dream Theatre'(Look around, Hear the sounds!), playing in your head once you are in Bangalore. The connection Is obviously the  balmy weather and the fact that B'lore is the blend of ultra modern cosmopolitan culture and the traditional extravaganza.


The place offers plenty of tourists’ attractions with rich history and culture. The Throne of Tipu sultan and the rule of East India Company along with natural glimpses are some of the many things to mention.

From a long walk in Cubbon Park to trails of trees everywhere to the amazing weather, you can’t help falling in love with the city.

1) Cycle to Nandi Hills (If you have never heard of these, we can't be friends! But you continue reading)


Cycle your way to, the Nandi Hills at night. The tingling adventure nerve will slake. The empty roads, the chilled breeze from the trees, will welcome you the most gorgeous sunrise you will witness the next morning. (Just mind the hair-pin bends while you drive.) You will have to wait till 5 AM for the entrance to the summit to open. Enjoy your beverages while you wait in the “The Hills Drive Cafe”. It is rated one of the best and it offers ‘Hookah’ as well. (Early Morning Adventure Person?)

2) Lung around The Cubbon Park – (you have not seen it all if you are out of Cubbon Park in an hour)


Cubbon Park is spread over an area of around 300 acres and was built by Richard Sankey, Chief Engineer of Mysore. (Some copy pasted Wiki Information)

Here you can see the statues of famous personalities like that of Queen Victoria, Chamarajendra Wodeyar, Major Gen. Sir Mark Cubbon, Rajya Dhurandhar, Sri. K. Sheshadri Iyer and Edward VII. There are many buildings of which some are neo-classical, the Government Museum, High Court, Doll Museum, Cheshire Dyer Memorial Hall and Public Library along with a toy train for children(Legit Favourite!).

3) Bangalore Palace (You'd For sure want to attend a Gig Here!)


Today a popular floor for rock concerts and events was once the royal home of Wadeyar family. The palace was built to resemble Winsor Castle of England was built by Chamaraja Wodeyar. With these really elegant interiors carved of wood, Gothic windows, battlements and turrets. (E-style!)

4) Chanting at ISKCON Temple Complex (Hare Krishna Hare Rama)


It is the temple of Radha and Krishna with a perfect blend of modern architecture and traditional temple feel. It called complex since it houses multi-vision cinema theatre, computer aided presentation theatres, Vedic library and a preaching library. ( Amazing Food Served too!)

5) Camping under the Stars (Like the one's in the movies)

(For this, We give you 2 Options, unlike other points!!)

a) A night at Bheemeshwari Adventure and Nature Camp : It is nestled on the banks of the majestic river Kaveri. Just 100 kilometers from Bangalore, you will land in this camp which is close enough for easy access and far-flung enough to cut yourself off from the daily humdrum. It is a fantastic mix of charming nature and wild adventure like the zip line, rope walking, kayaking, etc. The best part of this camp includes fishing activity. If you are lucky, you can even spot wildlife which includes elephants, deer, crocodiles, turtles, snakes and about two hundred bird species. Earmark this place to spend a night. (You will not regret! The way you regret about reading this.)




b) Manchanabele : Many travelers take road trips to this place during the weekends. Let your soul enjoy the tranquillity as you spend a night camping amidst nature in the backwaters of Manchanabele Arkavati River backwaters. Drive down to this place which is just 40 kilometers from Bangalore. To camp next to the waters, to listen to the wind gushing over the water, the rustling leaves and the moisture laden breeze is an experience you do not want to miss.( Please, don't forget to carry Mosquito repellent). During the day time, you can enjoy Kayaking and swimming under the proper guidance of an expert team. Bonfire at night will add the charm to your trip. So gear up and revel in the enthralling beauty.

6) Night Trek to Skandagiri


Watch the sunrise with its beautiful hues over the thick blanket of white cotton candy looking clouds. You can witness this beauty if you to navigate your way through the deep, dark, mysterious paths of Skandagiri at night. It is one of the frequented one-day road trips taken by trekking enthusiasts. The trek will challenge you physically and engage you mentally, leaving you with an ineradicable impression of the richness of our country. (If you have not done night trekking, then tick off one of the things to do on your bucket list.)

7) The Bannerghatta Biological Park (with a Zoo, butterfly park, aquarium, animal rescue centre and a safari park!) : You can embark on a guided safari in a secure forest department vehicle to see lions, panthers, leopards, bears, gaurs, black bucks and spotted deer, among other species of wildlife found here.( Though we don't take the responsibility of these animals of not eating you :p) The butterfly park, houses 48 species of colourful and ornately patterned butterflies in a conservatory. Keep in mind that it’s closed on Tuesdays. (They need a break from you, Duh!)
