February- The Month of Festivals

India is a country with a plethora of cultures, each of whom treasures its traditions. Each state in India readily embraces any celebration that comes its way. 1- Kala Ghoda Arts Festival- Mumbai- 3rd to 11th February

2- Goa Carnival- Goa- 11th to 14th February

3- Losar Festival- Sikkim- 16th-17th February

Tibetans in India celebrate the Buddhist New Year in the form of Losar. It involves traditional dances of Tibet including masked dance performances and day-long processions in monasteries.

4- Khajuraho Dance Festival- Khajuraho- 20th-26th February

Every February, The Western Group of Temples in Khajuraho light up and play host to one of the biggest dance festivals of India. Traditional dances from all states of India are performed here by renowned artists from across the country.

5- Ragasthan- Jaisalmer- 23rd to 26th February
